It may look like a piece of obsidian rock, but it’s Gnawt-a-Rock - a durable throw toy is inspired by natural volcanic glass formed by rapidly cooling lava from Pacific Northwest volcanoes. The Gnawt-a-Rock is made with natural latex rubber, a faceted surface, and an irregular shape.     Absolutely Enthralled

    As a ball, chew toy, or treat distributor, this checked all the boxes for my pups. The rubber is great for chewing and has a surprising bounce to it when thrown. It's easy to put treats in and I love giving my pups the additional challenge of loading it up with jerky treats that are nearly impossible to get out without thumbs. It holds their attention like none other and keeps them occupied for hours without going through a ton of treats. The only downside is hair, dirt, etc stick to the sides when it gets wet but I think most dog owners recognize that that just comes with the territory.

    A big hit

    The Gnawt-a-Rock is a huge hit in our house! My food- and toy-obsessed beagle-spaniel mix can't get enough of it. I was worried it would be a little too large for her, but it's not at all. She loves tumbling it around, even without treats inside.

    A whole lot of fun

    I bought three for each dog in our life ( grand dogs count!).

    They all loved these. They were fascinated trying to figure it out and all went at it in different ways. Our son’s shepherd now brings us the “ rock” to fill when we visit.
